Just wanted everyone to know that we are still working. If you have a need for our service and are alright with having us come to your home, we are happy to take care of your needs.
If your plumbing problem is outside, there is absolutely no reason to wait to call for service. The only things we are trying to avoid is being inside homes with a large number of occupants to do a repair for something cosmetic. Otherwise, if you have a plumbing need that should be taken care of, you should feel free to call us and we will help as soon as we can.
We are working still and servicing those customers with urgent repair needs. We will do so until we are told not to. We are asking that you be understanding and know that anything non-urgent may be waiting as we try to avoid any unnecessary contact. Customers with immediate repair needs will be accommodated.
We are being as proactive as we are able and sanitizing items as we can. We are asking that customers notify us of any illness in their home, as well as not hover around our technicians. Keep your DISTANCE. We do not want to come to your home if you or someone inside your home is sick. We place ourselves at risk each time we enter a customer’s home. Please protect us as well as yourselves..
Currently, we are asking that all residential customers pay with a credit card if possible, when payment is due. As a precaution, we are trying not to take anything from your home when we leave. If you need to pay cash, it needs to be placed in a sealed plastic bag, so that it can be sanitized at a later time. You most likely will need to have correct change as we are not carrying cash in any of our trucks at this time. We are not accepting checks at this time.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call our office at; 704-934-0015.
Our email is a great way to contact us! We monitor it regularly during business hours. However, On weekends, we may not see it. If you have an emergency, the best method of contact is our office phone. That number is 704-934-0015. After hours and weekends, you will receive voicemail. Leave us a voicemail telling us your name, address, the reason you are calling, and a good contact number for you. If it is an emergency, someone will call you back shortly. If it is not a plumbing emergency, we will return your call first thing Monday morning when we return to the office. Thank you for your cooperation.
Replace outdated faucets that are leaking. The smallest drip can add hundreds of dollars per year to your bill.
Look at your meter. If the meter is turning while no water is running, you most likely have a running toilet or leak somewhere.
Check for drips every few weeks. Look under cabinets and in your crawl space for puddles, get any leaks fixed as soon as possible.
Pay attention to your toilet. If you notice you need to hold the handle or flush repeatedly, if it is always making noises, or taking a long time to fill, it may need a new part.
Monitor your yard. If you notice wet spots for prolonged periods of time when it has not rained.
If you need help with any of these issues or think you have a leak, please call our office at 704-934-0015
These pictures are from a recent job in which we repaired a broken collapsed sewer line for a long time customer. We had tried to clear the line unsuccessfully so, we used our camera to investigate inside the line. We found that the sewer line had collapsed. We dug up and repaired the leak.
Almost a full pack of baby wipes our technician pulled out of a customers sewer pipe.
Ever wonder why baby wipes say do not flush? The simple explanation is that they do not dissolve in water like toilet paper. They are thicker and more cloth like. When you put too many in at once, the sewer pipes get clogged and will start to back up. This can cause your main sewer line to back up into your toilet, shower and kitchen sink. Gross, we know. This is why we recommend not disposing of any wipes, even flush-able ones. They do not breakdown in water like toilet paper. If you ever find yourself wondering if something is flush-able, the best thing to do is put it in the garbage and save your money!
