We spent the weekend helping some friends and animals in need. In order for them to get water to their animals; they were having to run water in buckets as far as 300 yards away. We can only imagine how challenging this is especially in this heat.
We were able to help by running water lines and installing hydrants in both their back pastures and their barn. We trenched ditches for the water lines and then ran pex lines to the back pasture and barn. They were also able to use our trencher to install power lines into their barn. This little bit of help is a much better solution than having to haul buckets of water several times a day.

True emergencies consist of the following: Main Sewer Line Back-up, resulting in you not being able to use your facilities. A clogged toilet, but only if it is the only one in your home. A bad water leak inside your home, which has resulted in your water being shut off. No Hot Water, is NOT considered an emergency. All other plumbing issues, may be an inconvenience, but are not an emergency.
Did you know that we can replace your tub and shower? We recently had the task of replacing a tub and shower with a walk-in shower. Please keep in mind that our company does not do the carpentry work, trim around the tub or repair sheet rock, but we will do the plumbing and demo and remove the old shower and tub.
Look at the pictures below. They show the final installation of the new shower. Once complete, you would need to call your carpenter or handy man to finish and trim it out the way you prefer.

Have a blessed Easter! Enjoy the time with your families.
What is a whole house filtration system? These systems are salt free filtration systems that use a sediment filter along with a water conditioner and UV light that filters water and kills bacteria that can come from a well system.
How are these beneficial? These systems remove contaminants like chlorine, lead, pesticides, and bacteria from your water. They also make your water safer to drink and to cook with. Did you know that they can also improve the texture of your hair and reduce your skin’s exposure to irritants from the water?
These systems are also less maintenance than a salt system! Whole house water filtration systems do not have a brine discharge so there is no need for a drain near the install location. Look at the picture below. This is an Aquasana filtration system that we installed just last week for one of our customers.

This week we were called out to investigate a possible issue with a pump station. The customer made us aware that the pump seemed to be full and possibly leaking. What is a pump station and why would you need one?
A pump station is a tank where your drains go which will pump sewage uphill to a city tap. Why are these used? These are used when a home sits lower than the city sewer. At times, you cannot rely on gravity for your sewage to flow into the city system.
These pumps on average can last between 10-20 years. Annual maintenance, inspection and grease breakup are also beneficial in extending the life of a pump station. Below are some before and after pictures of replacing the pump station.
We had a customer reach out to us with complaints about issues with not getting hot water. Our technician arrived and was quick to diagnose the issue. The issue was their tankless water heater’s computer board was fried. So, what’s the next step if this is the case?
Our technician found that replacement was the best option. However, the new unit was not going to fit into the original box that was built for the old tankless heater. Our technician had to adapt and mount the new unit over the box to restore the hot water in the home in a timely manner. Our technicians are always willing and able to improvise, adapt and overcome.
