An historic winter storm is brewing for the southeast.
We all need to be prepared for hazardous roadways and probably power outages. Whether you get tons of snow, or an ice and snow mixture, the outcome is not looking good.
Here at Cain’s Able Plumbing, we are trying to prepare also. We will be providing emergency plumbing service, IF WE ARE ABLE. Our trucks are 1 wheel rear drive and DON’T perform well on snow and ice at all. It is not worth the risk to our technicians or property, to attempt treacherous roadways.
If we are unable to answer the phones, or check messages, due to lack of power or internet, we apologize. This outcome will be beyond our control.
We also need to be able to give our employees time to prepare their own households for the high probability of losing power. They need to take care of their families and stay safe also.
Please take note and make a list of supplies and prepare yourselves as well.
Lots of water – Store in a place where it will not freeze.
Candles
Shelf stable food
Cooler – So you can keep food outside and protected if needed
Extra blankets
Board games or cards – To pass the time in a power outage.
Firewood – If applicable
Propane – If you have a gas grill
K1 heater – And K1 or diesel
Gas for your generator if applicable
Fill your car gas tank – It may be the only way to charge phones, tablets, PC etc.
Charge power tool batteries in advance
