Service Area Change

Effective 12/1/2021
We apologize in advance, but, we will not be accepting any new customers in most of the Charlotte metro area.
If you are located West of I-77, South of WT Harris Blvd, or South of NC Hwy 27/Albemarle Rd, you will not be considered in our service area any longer.

We just find that there is too much travel time involved in traveling to areas further into Charlotte and it is limiting the amount of people we are able to help each day, and repairs we are able to complete. As a smaller company, we only run a few service trucks and unfortunately, going into most of Charlotte, with travel and traffic, takes up half a day for the truck that goes.

We will still help those long time customers, that can and choose to wait on us for service, but the 1st hour rate for Charlotte, will have to increase to accommodate the time needed to be able to reach the service address.

Thank you for your understanding.
I hope that you have a Happy & Blessed Christmas & New Year.
Crissie

Upcoming Rate Increase

While we have tried to hold off raising our rates for as long as we could (Our last small rate increase was in 2018), even with the pandemic, we find the need to raise our rates. After much debate and discussion, we have decided on a 10% labor rate increase. The cost of a lot of things have increased immensely over the last 18 months. This has us having to increase to stay current with the ever evolving time. Materials have gone up by as much as 50% in the last year, and the cost of gas has risen 40%.

This 10% rate increase will take effect on June 1, 2021.

Although we are very apologetic to our customers for the increase, it was a necessity. We have been one of the most economical and reasonably priced plumbers around since we started and we hope to continue to be that way. This small increase, should still leave us very competitive. We hope that you all will understand, and even stand behind us in our decision.

Thank you,
Crissie Cain

When the Challenge is over Water

A month ago, we were called out to repair a sewer line. Usually in our line of work, that’s pretty common. What was uncommon about this project, was that we had to bring the sewer across a ravine, at the bottom of which, there was a creek.

This was something that was definitely going to be a challenge. Even a little daunting. But hey! We’re Cain’s, and we were ready to tackle it. It’s what we do! Even the City of Concord employee didn’t doubt us.

As you can see, we completed this project excellently. It took some planning and teamwork, but we are really happy with the results and so were our customers. On to the next one!
